Biography

Mary was born about 1847/48. She was the daughter of William Henderson and Mary Clay. ^{[1] [2]}

She married John P. Woodall and they had children: ^[3]

1. William Dotson, b. 15 Mar 1871, m. Mary Catherine Scott, d. 15 Sep 1953 ^[4]
2. Mary J., b. Jun 1872, ^[5] d. bef. 1880?
3. Annie D., b. 20 Nov 1875, ^[6] d. bef. 1880?
4. Henry, b. abt. Dec 1877, d. 28 May 1878, aged 5 months ^[7]

Neither Mary nor Annie appeared in the 1880 census with their brother, who resided with his Henderson grandparents.

Mary passed away in 1878, ^[8] three weeks before her five month old son Henry died.
