Janet was born about 1828. She passed away in 1902.
In 1851 she was a servant at Jarah farm, Logie, Perthshire and her future husband John McIsaac worked at the same farm as a shepherd. They married one year later in June 1852 and their first child was born July 1852. By 1855 they were living in Collingwood, Victoria.
