Isabel was born about 1753, probably in Fife, Scotland. She married Adam Brown in either Dunfermline or Inverkeithing, Fife, Scotland some time after 23 November 1776, when the banns for the wedding were booked in Inverkeithing. They had seven recorded children and probably two or three more whose births are not recorded. Isabel died, probably in Aberdour or Inverkeithing, Fife, some time after March 1798, when her last child was born.
