We do not know the parents of this family group. We do know from dna analysis that their ancestors were from the Scottish Lowlands near the border with England. Ayrshire was the most probably location. We believe they were moved to the Ulster Plantation and immigrated to America from there between 1730 and 1740. They were clearly in Beverly manor by around 1740.
John was almost certainly an Ulster Scot with lowland roots in Scotland. DNA evidence suggests that he was not from the Fordell line. william b. 1676 is the illetigimate son of Sir John Henderson.

Very unusual that a woman could be pregnant, with two unborn children, with two different fathers. Henderson-5475 and Henderson-5255 both were born 6 Feb 1706 and both died 1 May 1766.
