Mrs. Dave Davis Dies Result Of Heart Attack
Funeral services for Mrs. David Davis were held in the Hilltown church, Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. J. C. Behrens, pastor of the Moulton Methodist church. Burial was in Hilltown cemetery.
She died suddenly, Sunday night, the victim of a heart attack. Mrs. Davis was at the Chas. Hutchek home, south of Moulton, and had started to walk to her own home. She had only reached the gate when she suddenly pitched forward to the ground. A doctor was called but death had been almost instantaneous.
Deceased was born in Appanoose county, October 12, 1869, and had been a resident of this community all her life. She was a daughter of Wm. and Eunice Hendon. She was 71 years, 4 months and 4 days old.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Josie Hutchek and Mrs. Lulu Ray, of Moulton, and Mrs. Eunice Frink, of Centerville. Also, two sons, Jess, of Moberly, and Glenn of Moulton, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
Mrs. Davis had been ailing since Christmas but it was thought that she had fully recovered.
