Biography

Zeno Hendrick was born in Kentucky on October 1, 1834. His parents were Calvin Hendrick and Nancy Miller. He grew up on a his parent's farm outside of Hardinsburg, Kentucky.[1][2]

Zeno married Sarah Jane Lyons about 1858. In the 1860 Federal Census, Zeno was 25 and Jane was 17 and their infant daughter, Anna was 1 year of age.[3]

Zeno and Sarah Jane had ten children and by 1900 they had been together for 42 years.[4]

Zeno was a farmer and lived in Hardinsburg, Kentucky all of his life, like his father Calvin, and his mother, Nancy. He lived for 82 years and died on December 23, 1916. He passed away at home and most likely was suffering from Alzheimer's diseas. His diagnosis was Senility.[5]

Zeno's final resting place is at the Miller Cemetery, in Hardinsburg, with his wife's family, not with his parents, on their farm.[6]
