Ruth was born in 1910. She is the daughter of Richard Hendrick and Gladys Holderness. She married Paul Thompson at Belfast in 1934. She is buried at Grove Cemetery at Belfast with her husband, son and her parents. Her memorial indicates she was probably called "Midred."
