"Before me, Cornelis van Tienhoven, secretary of New Netherland, Appeared Adam Roelantsen and Cors Pietersen from Langeraer,* ... [* Langeraar, or Langer-Aar, a small village near Leiden. Cors is a short form for Christiaen, corresponding to Cars and Carsten, which occur frequently in connection with Scandinavian immigrants. Cors Pietersen died before [ n. d. ], 1657, when his widow, Tryntje Hendricks, married at New Amsterdam Frederick Lubbertsen.]" [2]

On this final NAB variant (Hendrickse-1) I am going to remove the claimed birth location Brooklyn, NY, which is clearly impossible. Dutch exploration of the Colony began in 1615, and settlement was first at Albany around 1635, as I recall. The matching profile (916) has a much more precise Netherlands birth. However, the birth date here of abt. 1613 was the common one found among these variants, and makes sense with her two marriages. Her youngest daughter Aeltje was born 1660, which would place Tryntje at age 47 with that birth date. Also, her second husband was Lubbertsen, and so Vroom and Corsen should be set as akas.

On this variant (916) I am going to remove the birth date 1640, because that is certainly far too late. It should more properly be abt 1613. But the birth location of Spaarndam, Velsen, Noord-Holland, Netherlands looks good, for that earlier time frame.
