Biography

James was born in 1942[1] and enlisted in the U.S. Navy soon after leaving high school.
1st Class P.O. James Hendricks served in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War
Service started: 4 Aug 1960
Unit(s): U.S.S. Hornet
Service ended: 3 Jun 1969

He married Judith Flamer[2] while in the Navy and was in for 9 years, 6 months and 24 days. This was during the Vietnam War.

He died in an automobile accident outside Lancaster, California one month after leaving the Navy.[1] He was buried in Old Union Church Cemetery, Jackson Township, Boone, Indiana. [1]
