Hi Paul, please check before creating duplicates such as Jaubert-4 and Richarde-5. It is against the honor code and not according to the self-certifying pre-1700 test, and it creates a lot of unneccesary work for others.

Paul, I noticed you plan to or already uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to instructions on the step-by-step gedcom import at WikiTree , including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our gedom instructions

Please keep in mind that our vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Thank you for taking the time to go through your gedmatches.

TIP: if your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree.

Paul Hendriks Macquine

After starting a familytree on myheritage.com and gradually extending this I started a separate familytree there with direct ancestors. Last autumn I decided to do DNA testing with Ftdna and the first results are in. I hope to be able to contribute to the assembled data on wikitrees and eventually also to profit from this growing knowledge. Kind regards, Paul Hendriks
