Biography

Susannah Elizabeth Hendrix was the daughter of Julius Crow Hendrix and Caroline Rebecca Hays Hendrix. She was married to Joseph Franklin Alexander on Jan 8 1852. Her brother James T Hendrix performed the ceremony. Susannah's husband Joseph was mortally wounded at 2d Manassas and is buried in the Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton, Virginia.
