Biography

Euscal D. Hendry was born about 1893 in Shady Grove, Georgia, United States, according to his US Army enlistment record. However in the various census records, his birth location is listed as Florida (e.g 1930 census[1])

He enlisted to the US Army on 21 May 1917 at Fort McPherson, Georgia. He was 24 years old at the time, and listed his birth location as Shady Grove, Georgia.[2]

He served at Fort McPherson until discharge on April 14, 1919.

In the 1930 US census, Euscal D Hendry (37) was living in Tampa, Florida, with wife Grace D Hendry (34) and children Kathryn (10), Camilla (8) and Robbie (6). He wa a truck driver with the sanitation department.[1]
