Very little reliable information is available for Margaret. She was probably born c1831 in Washington Co., Virginia.
She married John B. Heninger 10 August 1853 (from a tattered page of John's Bible). There are reports that Margaret was born a Talbert/Tolbert. There are also reports that she was born Margaret Heninger, the daughter of Isaac Heninger and Drucilla Totten. John's father, Samuel, and Isaac were both residents of Smyth Co. in 1850 and Margaret, age 19, is recorded as Isaac's daughter in that same Census. John was still living, age 39, with his parents in 1850.
Margaret was still living when John wrote his will in 1880. Some reports, again unsourced, claim she died in 1899.
Margaret's LNAB above may, or may not, be accurate. It would be accurate if she was the daughter of Isaac Heninger. It may need revision if it turns out she was a Talbert/Tolbert. Further investigation into Smyth Co. marriage records may turn up the clues needed to resolve the question.
