Ann was born about 1822 in (Monroe, Orange) New York.
It is indicated on Ancestry by way of DNA matching, that Ann is related to Peter Henion to another direct descendant of Peter. It is anticipated given her age, that Ann was a sibling to Peter, or a wife to a sibling of Peter's and a prior marriage/union.
Through her daughter Jane Kraiger, it was indicated that Ann's surname was Henion (unless this is a mistake and the surname from a previous marriage). We find in the 1850 census that Ann is married, living in Monroe, Orange, New York and that there is a William Henion listed living with her (and wife Jane) along with her husband Charles and children.
Given Charles and Ann were married in 1843, that Ann was born in 1822 and that WIlliam was born in 1840, it seems more likely that William was a nephew to Ann and was staying with Ann and her family at the time.
In addition, there is only one other William/Jane Henion of similar age from New York and (either William/Jane pair) appear on but one 1850 census - so they must be the same family.
