Biography

Percy Franklin Henry was born in 1872 in East Dulwich, Camberwell, London, England to William Franklin Henry and Mary (Mills) Henry. His birth was registered in Camberwell in the second quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Mills.^[1]

In 1881 Percy F Hessy [Henry] (age 9) lived at Peckham Rye in Camberwell with his father William Francklin (38, Dentist Licentiate in Dental Surgery BCS of England), mother Mary (31), and four sisters: Jessie Elizabeth (10), Amy Maua (5), Rose (3), and Elsie Emma (1), as well as three servants: Ruth Gallayn (27, Cook), Alice Elshaw (23, Nursemaid), and Miriam Hall (56, Monthly Nurse).^[2]

In 1891 Percy F Henry (age 19, Dental Student) lived at Peckham Rye in Camberwell with his father William F (45, Registered Dentist LDS Eng), mother Mary (41), and six siblings: Jessie E (20), Amy M (15, Scholar), Rose (13, Scholar), Elsie E (11, Scholar), Winifred B (6, Scholar), and Clement J (4), as well as two servants: Jessie M Adlington (35, Cook) and Rose A Sellers (21, Housemaid).^[3]
