Obituary[1]

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Collins, 61, 1303 Overlook Road, will be conducted Thursday morning at 2901 S. Washington St. Dr. James Guthrie, pastor of Westminster United Presbyterian Church, will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Grant Memorial Park.

Mrs. Collins died Monday afternoon in her home. A life resident of Marion, she was the wife of Omer Collins. She was a member of the antique committee of Hostess House.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Bruce, Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Russell Hunt, Elkhart; a brother, Jerome Henry, Corpus Christi, Texas, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jay, who was killed in a place crash in 1958.
