Biography

Hiram Austin Hensley was born on October 3, 1883, in Harrison, West Virginia. His father, George, was 28 and his mother, Anna, was 29. He had four sons and three daughters with Wilhelmina Deafenbaugh: Dana Edwin Hensley 1905–1958; Anna Wilhelmina Hensley 1907–1981; George Otto Hensley 1910–1981; Iva Mae Hensley 1911–1981; John Paul Hensley 1913–1995; Charles Henry Hensley 1915–1972; Margaret Catherine Hensley 1919–2003.

He died on September 26, 1962, in Pomeroy, Ohio, at the age of 78, and was buried in Long Bottom, Ohio.[1][2]
