Biography

Ruby was born in 1884 in Nebraska. She was the daughter of W. Hensley and K. McAllister, according to info on her 1904 marriage record.

She married Ernst Irwin Browne in 1904 at Columbus, Nebraska. The had one son, Roger J. Browne, but Ernest passed away in January 1910 at age 33.

As of the 1910 census she was 26 and widowed, living with her son and her father in Columbus, Nebraska.

She later married Garfield Paulus in 1912. As of the 1920 census, they were living in Johnson, Iowa, and had a daughter Betty. By 1930, they were living in San Diego, California.

She passed away in 1965. She was buried at Cypress View Mausoleum and Crematory, San Diego,California.
