Walter was born 22 Nov 1896 at Wynnewood, Pontotoc, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, he son of William Hensley and Elzira Conrady. Walter passed away 20 Apr 1981 at Walker Township, Garvin, Oklahoma. He is buried at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, Garvin County, Oklahoma.^[2]
