Rebecca was born in the spring of 1853, the daughter of Frederick Henwood and Rebecca Camwell. She spent most of her life living with her parents in the family home at Cheltenham and working as assistant in her father's business. But in the Census of 1881 she is listed at the age of 28 as a Hosier's Assistant, living and working in Plymouth, Devon. She died in the early summer of 1920 and is buried in the family grave at St. Mary's Church, Charlton Kings.[1]
