Genealogy & History of the Hepburn Family of the Susquehanna Valley shows John Hepburn born 1798 Milton, Northumberland County, PA, a son of John Hepburn born 1757 Ireland-1817 Lycoming, PA and Mary Elliott b 1761 Ireland-1819 Susquehanna, PA, he died August 1859 m Eliz Martin no birth date but says died young, says 1 son William G and 2 daughters Sarah and Elizabeth. The son William died in the Battle of Bull Run. [1]
