In book 'Die Herzoger' her year of birth was given as 1836, under Frank Knoll, but under her second husband her birthdate is 25 March 1839. 1850 census, born 1839, 1857 census, 1838.[5]
Her second husband was 'Martin Goetz nickname: 'Binder Maten' whose 1st wife was Anna Maria Hergert, died in 1857, Anna Katherine's older sister, his second wife was Anna Kreutzer born 12 July 1837 died 23 April 1909 [6]

Martin Goetz arrived on SS Ohio in 1875 from Liebenthal, Russia and was a founder of Liebenthal, Kansas. In the Kansas records Martin is mentioned as a founder of Liebenthal, Kansas, and then his in the St. Victoria book 'Die Herzoger' pg 250 as married to Anna C. Hergert.
1 June 1900 Census: Age 64, had 13 children, only 4 living.[8]
14 December 1909, Catherine married her 2nd husband Martin Goetz (1835-1915) [9]

Note: On Find-A-Grave it has that 1857 census has Catherine Paul as her mother, but that was a translation error on the 1857 census by Waldemar Pflug, the original census shows her last name matches Rome. Her mother Catherine Rome died after 1857.[12][13]
