Birth Estimate 1716 - King and Queen County, Va., (after 1728 was included in Caroline County) (vs 1683)
Marriage Estimate About 1736-1737 married Valentine Haley, daughter of Edward Haley, of Orange Co Virginia (On 27 August 1741 deed of gift from Edward Haley, of the parish of St. Thomas, in Orange, to James Herndn "for love and paternal affection which I have to my daughter Valentine Haley and now the wife of James Herndon of Orange county.". . . )
  • Settled in St. Thomas parish, Orange County, until about 1755,
  • Moved to Brumfield parish in Culpeper until at least 2 June 1758.
  • Between 1758 and 1762 he returned to Caroline County
Death Estimate Exact date Unknown - (Before 1766). Caroline County Virginia (vs 1758). Valentine died about 1799 in Goochland Co VA[2]
