DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with David by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.

Herr-1168 and Herr-127 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same birth and death dates. Their spouses are clearly meant to be the same person and also need to be merged.
Herr-1168 follows the corrected 3rd edition (1994) of the 'Genealogical Record of Hans Herr' by T. W. Herr in making David the son of Abraham Herr (Herr-85). (See correction on pages 793-794.)
Herr-127, on the other hand, follows the 1st edition (1908) which incorrectly lists him as the son of Abraham Herr, Jr. (Herr-13) and grandson of Herr-85.
