Raymond Herrmann Sr. was an Appalachian.

Raymond Herrmann Sr. was a New Yorker.

Raymond was born on November 18, 1905. He was the second son of Joe Herrmann and Bertha Schirck.

In 1930, Raymond, age 25, lived with his parents, and two siblings and worked as a General Mason. ^[1]

In 1940, Raymond lived with and supported his retired parents, and did not marry until after World War II. He worked as a Mason in Building Construction.^[2]

Raymond married Martha E. Semppi on December 21, 1946, ^[3]shortly after World War II. They had four children together.

He passed away in March 1987. His wife Martha died a few months later. They are buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Conneaut, Ashtabula County, Ohio.
