Your name Rosina Herrmann is close to my Rosa, or Rosalia, or Rosalin Bar/Baer Herrmann (see my message to you, below.) She brought my father to the US where his mother had married an American after her establishing her new life.

Wikitree has a list of unconnected people that shows that you, I and the Maclenaghen Husband and wife are connected through that very long list.

Hi, Sharon! I have Herrmann relatives, mostly from Baden, but, really, there's so much to discover. My gggm Rosa/Rosalin/Rosalie/Rosalia (b. 1837 Schmid) Herrmann; both are her natural surnames). Rosa had one boy & one girl (Elisabeta Friederike Baer). Rosa brought my father to the US (Ellis Island ship manifest) when she was 73 and he was 4. She'd reared him from infancy to 4; parting might have been sorrowful. She left for Germany and went almost directly to her son (August Baer) in Hamburg, far to the north, to live her last years or months. I hope to find them in your tree.
