Biography

William Hersey and Sarah Langlee were the parents of Joseph Hearsey, born 09 Nov 1697 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay.[1][2]

He married Abigail Nash 17 Dec 1719 in Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay.[3]

Joseph & Abigail Hersey had nine children, all born in Abington, Plymouth, Mass:

  1. Joseph Hearsey, b. 23 Jan 1726 [4]
  2. Sarah Hearsey, b. 16 Oct 1729 [5]
  3. James Hersey[6]

Joseph died on 15 Aug. 1770 at Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts and was buried at Mount Zion Cemetery, Whitman, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. His memorial has a photo of his headstone, biographical material and links to those of family members.[7]
