Leonia Hertz was the wife of Izrael Poznanski, one of the king of cotton of Lodz, Poland. Both Leonia and Izrael were Jewish. According to an article I found, she and her husband opened a hospital especially for Jews in 1890. Leonia had at least two sons. The youngest was Maurycy -- the father of Isabel Landsberger-Poznanska....
