Joseph Elie was born July 10, 1801 in La Malbaie, Lower Canada. He was baptized on the 20th of the same month. He is the son of Michel Herve and Marie-Madeleine Côté. [1]
Elie married Marie Tremblay April 10, 1824 in Les Eboulements, Lower Canada [2]
Elie passed away April 19. 1832 in La Malbaie, Lower Canada and was buried two days later. [3]
