Biography

Robert Hesketh was son of Thomas Hesketh of Rufford in Lancashire ^[1] and his third wife, Alice Haworth.^[2]

He married Grace Towneley, daughter of Sir John Towneley ^[1] and his wife, Isabel Pilkington. ^[3] Grace was the niece of Grace Towneley, the second wife of Robert's father. Robert and Grace were parents of at least two sons, Thomas and Robert, and two daughters, Ellen and Jane.^[3]

Robert died on the 8th of February 1539. ^[1][3]
