Biography

Alice was the daughter of James Hewetson and Dorothy Lynn.

Alice married Rev Henry Hulbert Wolseley.

He was Vicar Saintfield, County Down from 1810 to 1840. In 1840 he resigned his living and they went to reside in Canada.

He died in 1841

On the 25th May at Down, Upper Canada the Rev H.H. Wolseley, Vicar of Saintfield. - Note the newspaper gives the date of 23 May

Rev Henry Wolseley and his wife Alice Wolseley were interred in the old churchyard of Lakefield, Peterborough Co., Ontario, Canada.
