Hewett-924 and Hewitt-3060 appear to represent the same person because: The family uses Hewitt and Hewett in different branches of the family. Sarah Jane Hewitt is my grandmother. The family origin is St. Breock, Cornwall, England. Most family members in both lists match. The family in Canada lived at Starrat, Ontario, just north of Sprucedale, and west of Burks Falls, in Parry Sound district. Sarah Jane Hewitt/Hewitt married my grandfather Thomas White, son of William Arthur White, of Whitehall, just west of Sprucedale. My great grandparents are Joseph Knight Hewitt and Elizabeth Harding. They are buried at Royston Cemetary, Bartlett Lake (Starrat), Ryerson Township, Parry Sound District, Ontario. My grandmother was born St. Catherines, Ontario, in 1875. My mother is Iva Ena Lucinda White.
