Biography

Fred was born on February 10, 1864 in Clay County, Missouri. He passed away ion January 13,1936 and buried in the Sharon Cemetery near Drexel, Cass County, Missouri. [1]


Fred was the son of Christian and Mary Chandler Hey. He married first Ruth Isabel Broadhurst on February 10, 1887. They had four children: Claud Francis, Eva Maud, John Lester, and Fred Linn. Ruth died in 1904, and Fred married Anna Hansen on June 24, 1908. Fred and Anna had one child, Charles Woodward Hey. Fred and his family lived in Drexel, Missouri, where he farmed and became a successful realtor.
