Albert George Hibbler, blind since birth, was an American baritone vocalist, who sang with Duke Ellington's orchestra before having several pop hits as a solo artist. He was also involved in civil rights activism.[1]
Probably best known for his version of "Unchained Melody." Mr. Hibbler also had a hit with his version of "Danny Boy."
