Biography

Zilpha Jane Hickman was born in 1850. She was the daughter of William Hickman and Minerva Bond. She passed away in 1934.

MRS JANE BOND, 83, CLAIMED BY DEATH

Mrs. Jane Bond, 83 years, 11 months old, died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. A.J. Bond, near Wiggins, at 4:30 o'clock this morning and will be laid to rest Tuesday morning in the Bond cemetery. Her death followed an illness of about ten days.

She was the wife of the late A.J. Bond, at one time a member of the Harrison County Board of Supervisors.

She is survived by a large number of relatives including three brothers, A.D. Hickman, Davis Hickman and Rankin Hickman, all of the rural section near Wiggins, and one daughter, Mrs. J.A. Lott, also of the rural community.

Among other relatives are three daughter-in-law, Mrs. F.S. Bond, of Jackson, and Mrs. J.O. Hawk and Mrs. A.J. Bond: ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held at the cemetery at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning.
