Biography
Charles was born in 1901. He is the son of James Hickman and Nannie Garris. He passed away in 1985.
Charley Andrew Hickman, 83, Creston, died at Crest Haven Care Center in Creston, Tuesday, March 26, 1985. Graveside services were held at the Murray Cemetery Thursday, March 28 with the Rev. Neville Clayton officiating at the 3:30 p.m. rites. Charles Andrew Hickman was born August 20, 1901 in Cleo, Oklahoma, son of James Hickman and Nannie Garris Hickman. He never married and worked as a farm laborer. Survivors include a brother, Merwin of Silverton, Colorado and a sister, Beulah Bailey of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Ruth Bearce and Mabel Curnes. [1]
