Sallie/Salley Ann Hickman is said to have been born abt 1743 in Accomack, Virginia, possibly daughter of Selby and Ann HIckman.

She married David Long in Worcester, Maryland bef. 1760 and had children with him: Patience (b1760), David, Jesse (b 1775), Mary Ann (b1805), John Hickman (b1809). [1]

Sallie Ann Long died aft 1809 in Sussex, Delaware.

  1. Nathaniel Hickman Bible. Family pages.Names are on pp74-7 of unknown title. Bible printed by J H Frost in Boston. Owned by Mrs. Toadvine. It had belonged to Nathaniel Hickman in 1820 who passed it on to his only son John who in May 1854 wrote in it

Lynn, found in my historical files: photocopy of 4 pages (p74-77) from an unidentified book (possibly a volume of Maryland Bible Records as format is same as vols 1-6 of Delaware Bible Records which I own.)
