Phillip Hicks was born about 1753 in Inwardleigh, Devon.

Philip married Mary Gay (1767 - 1844) on 16 Oct 1781[1]. They had two sons;

William Hicks (1789 - 1871). James Hicks (1792 - 1866)[2].

Philip died in Sep 1839[3] in Northlew, Devon, England, United Kingdom aged ~86.
