Hi. I was researching Hants county, Nova Scotia records and came across this excellent source for the Hicks Family (who are cousins of mine :0 ). Thought you could use the additional information if you decide to build out this profile. John Hicks was one of the agents who represented the settlers who founded Falmouth after the 'Expulsion of the Acadians' and himself a grantee at Falmouth of 500 acres which is a nice sized farm. The info says he later removed to Granville (Annapolis county) abt 1765 and was in the legislature.
