Tommy Hicks was born in 1908 in Greenville, Texas[1]. He was born Theodore M. Hicks, but went by the name "Tommy"[2]. He graduated from LIFE Bible college in Los Angeles in 1935[2]. He traveled to Argentina and met with the country's president Juan Peron on 16 March, 1954 and secured a stadium in which to hold an evangelistic crusade[2]. By the end of the crusade the Atlanta Fútbol Stadium was filled[2]. He passed away in 1973.
