Biography
That she may have been daughter of Moses and Lavina (Doolittle) Hix is supported by the fact that the Baldwin property was in the same vicinity as the Moses Hix property. In addition, she may have been one of the four females enumerated with Moses Hicks in the 1790 US Census (Hoosick, NY). In addition, her given name is the same as the wife of Moses Hix and her supposed mother-- Lavina Doolittle.[1]
