Nita Hicks was born about 1889 in Midgic, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Albion Hicks and Annie Scott. She married Tom Oulton about 1909. They emigrated to the United States in 1914, and settled in Pasadena, California. They had two children, one of whom was born in 1911 in New Brunswick, and the other in 1919 in Massachusetts.
In the 1920 census Nita (age 30) was living in Newburyport, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.[3]
Nita died after April 1920 in Pasadena, , California, United States.[4]
