Biography

Zachariah Hicks Jr. was born at Cambridge, Massachusetts on September 27, 1657, son of Zachariah Hicks and Elizabeth Still. . ^{[1] [2] [3]}

He married at Cambridge on November 18, 1685. Ruth Green daughter of John and Ruth (Michelson) Green. Ruth was born November 26, 1661 at Cambridge ^[1] and died by 1704.^{[4] [5]}

He married second Mrs. Seeth (Grafton) Andrew, widow of William Andrew on June 22, 1704. ^{[1] [3] [6]} Seeth was the daughter of John Grafton and Seeth Gardner of Salem. ^[7]

Zachariah was a carpenter by trade. Both Seeth Andrew, in 1701/2, and Zachariah, from 1704-17, were licensed by the town to sell intoxicating liquors. ^[3]
