Biography

Margaret was born in 1659, the daughter of Andrew Hidden (1622–1702) and Sarah Hosetin (1633–1729).

She married Thomas Tenney (1648–1730) on 8 September 1680 in Rowley.

They had the following children:

1. Margaret Tenney 1681–1742
2. Anne Tenney 1683–1723
3. Elizabeth Tenney 1687–1710
4. Hannah Tenney 1689–1779
5. Samuel Tenney 1692–1747
6. Ruth Tenney 1695–1721
7. Mehitable Tenney 1699–1737

Margaret (Hidden) Tenney died some time after 5 March 1734/35 when she, with her sister Ruth and her husband Samuel Duty, all of Newbury, sold one cow gate (or two thirds of an ox gate) in Rowley to John Northend.^[1]
