Margaret was born in 1659, the daughter of Andrew Hidden (1622–1702) and Sarah Hosetin (1633–1729).
She married Thomas Tenney (1648–1730) on 8 September 1680 in Rowley.
They had the following children:

Margaret (Hidden) Tenney died some time after 5 March 1734/35 when she, with her sister Ruth and her husband Samuel Duty, all of Newbury, sold one cow gate (or two thirds of an ox gate) in Rowley to John Northend.[1]
