Biography

Black Sea Germans
Katharina (Hieb) Mayer was a Black Sea German.

Katharina Hieb was second daughter of 12 children born to Wilhelm Hieb and Katharina Dockter. [1]

She married Jacob Mayer at Neudorf, South Russia on February 17, 1881 in the Glueckstal Parish, Kherson, Russia and had 3 children before immigrating to USA in 1884. .[2][3]

They settled in South Dakota and had 4 more children before her death in 1892, a few days after her 7th child was born.

Shouldn't she have a Black Sea Germans Sticker? The family has German roots, not Russian.
I don't know enough about Black Sea sticker, so I had to look it up before I changed it.

The proposed merge has problems with dates. Hieb-210 wasn't born until after this person died. I don't see any data to indicate they are the same person. Can you tell me what you see that I am missing?
