In August 1892 she came from Russia to Hesmer and married Jakob Mayer, who preceded her in death in 1937. This marriage was blessed with 11 children. Three preceded their mother in death. About three months ago the deceased complained of pains in her side. Several doctors were consulted, but their arts failed them. She died of liver cancer. She leaves behind six sons, Johann, Jakob, Bernhardt, Wilhelm, Otto, and Lenhardt; two daughters, Mrs. Rosina Jundt and Mrs. Lydia Eisenbeiß, as well as four stepdaughters, Mrs. Katharina Gutmiller, Mrs. Karoline Nehlich, Mrs. Magdalena Hieb and Mrs. Christina Kirschenmann.
