Probate

The probate of the estate of Nathaniel Hiestand was initiated on 14 Aug 1895 in the Hancock County Court.[8] In that record, there are a number of court orders related to the probate, as well as the Last Will itself. However, the probate records contain only the 1st page of what appears to be a multi-page Last Will. There is an additional transcription of the Last Will that includes Nathaniel's signature and those of the subscribing witnesses.[9]
