Higby-115 and Higbee-8 appear to represent the same person because: I don't have many primary documents on hand, however the genealogy book 'Edward Higby and his Descendants' by Clinton David Higby, 1927, does cite some primary sources for this relationship.

Pages 48-50 details that Edward Higby the son of Edward Higby married Abigail Adams.

Higbee/Higby/Higbe/Higbie are all variations of the same name, and especially this early in recordkeeping, different variations are used in different records.

His name in his will is recorded as 'Edward Higbee', of Monmouth NJ.
