Thomas, child of Dennis & Ann, was baptised on 26 September 1869 in East Pennard, Somerset, England.^[1] Thomas's birth (Mother's maiden name: Golledge) was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1869 in the Shepton Mallet district.^[2][3]

In the 1871 census Thomas (age 1) was the son of Dennis Higdon in Huxham and Meade, East Pennard, Somerset, England.^[4][5]
