Why hello there! First of all, I am VERY sorry for how bad I am at keeping this up! I have health issues and was able to do a lot of work around it, but I got to a point where I just wasn't able to keep up anymore. I had been working on a grand plan/project to make a profile for everyone in the 1850 census in Knox County and actually got pretty far if I do say so myself, but then not being able to keep up turned into a sort of mess and going forward I'm going to be more selective with adopting profiles and might remove myself as manager from a lot of these profiles that I am not directly connected to.
I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to spend working on here and after what happened, I'm hesitant to commit to much. I've been having some emails get lost in my spam folder or I forget to reply to them, so I apologize if I missed you and thank you in advance for your patience! I'll try to do better with merges and hopefully being more selective with being a manager will cut back with me needing to do that.
Please note that if I make a profile, that doesn't mean that I know a lot (or anything) about that person and am a lot of the time making a place for a person with more information to be able to fill it out. I want to "populate" Wiki Tree so when ancestors or more closely related people find it, they have it set up already and maybe I'll have found something they didn't already have? I remember when I first started here and I plugged in a few people I had on my family tree and what a blessing it was to find all the other connections I had and was able to find how I was related to other people I wouldn't have known about. I LOVE how Wiki Tree works!
I recently had my DNA tested for fun and entered that into Wiki Tree's system. I don't know too much about what I found and am still playing around with it, but if you know more and there's something you would like to know more about, please do let me know :) I have been working on my Knox County connections since that part of the family has more brick walls than my other lines. When I thought about getting back to work here, I have thought about branching out more and working on other lines. Again, I don't know how reliable I can be so I'm sorry again if I'm not able to keep up! Also, I'm not an expert and I am so sorry that I probably don't have answers to your questions! I'm learning along with you all :)

I'm presently working on posting my late wife's Jackson family to WikiTree (I've been researching them since the '60s), who were from Red River County, Texas, and who descend from James Andrew Jackson of Knox County. I just went through my data on Frances (Fanny) Jackson, who was James's sister and a daughter of William K. Jackson & Mathena Wilon.
You (or, I guess, "Living Britain") show her has having married James Washam in 1847, bu this is contrary to what I've seen in the notes taken from my wife's great-grandmother's Bible (now missing), which say she never married. And Fanny was, in fact, still living with her parents in the 1850 & 1860 censuses. There were, as I'm sure you're aware, a LOT of unrelated Jackson families in that part of Tennessee during the mid-19the century, and "Fanny" was a pretty popular name. I think this "Fanny Jackson" has simply been erroneously conflated with another one.
"Living Britain" also attached a woman named "Ann Boswell" to William Jackson as his first wife -- but she's not mentioned anywhere else and thre's simply no room for her in that family. All of William's children are correctly attached to his actual first wife, Mathena Wilson (partly through DNA results by the descendants of some of their children). Which leads me to think your predecessor on some of these profiles was prone to making assumptions with similar names. . . .

I am looking for any info on illegitimate children of male Mondays in eastern Tennessee. There was at least one, and I am looking for a 2nd born in 1813. My Y DNA is a match to at least 2 Mondays. Samuel Monday (1787-1868) does not have a profile yet on wikitree.
Jim Ward's Y DNA haploid is compatible with 3rd cousin George L Ward Jr. His is identical to two Monday men, Alan Lee Monday and ErvIn Lee Monday. Samuel Monday (1787-1868) was cited for Bastardy in Knox County and had a son out of wedlock with Isabella Hawthorn in 1818.
My cheap LivingDNA Y DNA has less info than real Y DNA tests. A YDNA expert with FTDNA, Mark M, provided details. My subclade G-S2808 is compatible with G-M201, just not complete. The path from M201 to BY181157 would be M201>L89>L156>P15>L1259>L30>L141>P303>L140>PF3346>PF3345>CTS342>L497>CTS9737>Z1817>Z727>CTS2230>Z726>CTS4803>S2808>BY46757>S23438>FT285825>Z30790>Z30791>BY181157 whereas mine stops in middle at S2808.

Again, I apologize for being unresponsive and not more active. I wasn't taken away by choice and I still have plans to do more work. I need a light at the end of the tunnel and something to work for. Right now my biggest obstacle is that my eyes were damaged and I am trying different treatments in hopes of being able to look at a screen for more than a few minutes. I'm not looking for pity, I just want you to know that I haven't been blowing you off. I really do want to help you and it makes me very upset to know that I have caused you this frustration.
I did something where I think I added you to the trusted list for the people you requested, did I do that correctly? Do you need me to do more?

When I was looking around on that day I was trying to update myself on WikiTree and all the things that have changed since I was really active. A lot has changed indeed! All of this made me more excited about coming back and doing more but alas, I guess that will have to be put on hold for now. It would be lovely if WikiTree came up with a nighttime mode. Anyway, just warning you that I might have trouble understanding some new features right away and again I want to assure you that I'm not intentionally making things more difficult.
Happy hunting and blessings from one B to another ;)
